Holila Hatta menyelesaikan jenjang sarjana (S1) pada Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) berkonsentrasi pada program studi bahasa inggris (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) tahun 2005. Kemudian memperoleh gelar master dari Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Ppm dengan bidang keahlian Manajemen pemasaran di Jakarta pada 2006.

 

Holila Hatta bergabung semenjak tahun 2007 dalam pusat penelitian di Bakrie School of Management (BSM) atau Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Bakrie. Bidang penelitian yang ditekuni meliputi bidang hubungan pemasaran, kepuasan pelanggan, strategi merek dan kewirausahaan. Pengalaman penelitian yang mendalam diperoleh dari bidang industri rumput laut. Hasil penelitian yang dihasilkannya telah dipresentasikan di banyak konfresi ilmiah baik di tingkat nasional maupun internasional, begitu pula dalam jurnal akademik.

Saat ini Holila Hatta aktif sebagai dosen tetap di Universitas Bakrie
