SMART Corp., Indosat,, Pertamina, Pindad, PLN; Bottled water and carbonated soft-drinks, United Tractors, Banks and non-bank Financial Institutions, Pharmaceutical industries,

Cigarettes and consumers products, (e.g. Orang-Tua Group, Garuda Foods, FrieslandFoods, Nestle), among others. Deddy is now (2005 - ) a consultant as a Financial Management Specialist to Asian Development Bank (ADB) in a capacity building for decentralization project for local (Indonesia) governments. He is also now (2006 - ) the Director of Management Program, at Bakrie School of Management/Universitas Bakrie.

He has more than 25 years of working experience in both international organizations and local/national companies, including teaching Strategic Management, Finance and Economics courses at IPMI-Business School, an Indonesian leading B-School for more than 10 years (1995-2005). He also attended several training programs offered by some world-class universities in the US, Japan and the Philippines. His international exposure has been enriched by an appointment sponsored by JICA of Japan as a facilitator/lecturer to promote Methods for Regional-Economic Development of Okinawa Models to Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand under the direction of Prof. Hiroya Yoshikawa of Okinawa University. As part of project preparation, Deddy conducted a field research and project orientation in Okinawa, Japan (December, 2003). He has disseminated the methods by carrying over workshops and seminars through teleconference systems of JICA to graduate students, government officials and NGO counterparts of three countries. His current research and consulting interests are in the area of industrial economics, Strategic Management and the financial systems, and of investment management.

He was a Director in-charged of Research and Business Development (1993-1995) at Business Advisory Group (now the Castle Group), an international finance and industrial market research company, operating in ASEAN countries, Australia and the US. He also was a research associate of IPMI (1993) sponsored by USAID. He worked for a project funded by the World Bank for more than four years (1987-1991) as a Project Manager of the Indonesian Integrated Swamp Development Project. During his working experience with the World Bank-funded project, he attended several training programs, including the Management Project in Organization at School of Business and Public Management, the George Washington University, Washington DC, USA (1991); the Small-Business and Entrepreneurial Development Programs, at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston, Mass. (1991); the Project Financial Analysis with Microcomputer Applications at Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado (1990); and the Development and Operations of Agricultural and Natural Resources Extension Program at University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin (1987). He began his professional working experience with PT. Andal Agrikarya Prima (1984) as a project-feasibility analyst. His current professional membership includes the Indonesian Economist Association.

Deddy received his Bachelor of Science (S1) from IPB in Agronomic Science (1984) and his Master of Science (M.Sc) in Natural and Resources Economics from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado, USA (1991) with a scholarship from the World Bank. In the following year (1992) he then received another master degree (MBA) from IPMI-Business School with an award for excellence in Production and Operations Management. His Ph.D in Business Administration (2001) is from College of Business Administration, University of the Philippines, Manila, Philippines, with a scholarship grant awarded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) of Canadian Government..
